I am so sad to report that long-time LAF friend, supporter, father, husband, cancer advocate, multiple cancer survivor, and LAF Board Member Hamilton Jordan passed away tonight.

He was an advisor and a mentor to me. I will never forget his encouragement and support of me as a 21 year-old entering the cancer enterprise. And what he did for me, he did for many survivors. He loved youthful energy and he embodied the LIVESTRONG philosophy like no other. He battled cancer for years. And years. And years. And he battled with great dignity.

Kids Helping Kids Overcome Cancer Obstacles was a fun-filled LIVESTRONG Day event geared towards KIDS of all ages and sizes. We had a fantastic turn-out with motivating speakers and kids running all over the place… slowing down only for pizza and ice cream. The event host, Heather Tomhave, did a fantastic job putting together the obstacle course and keeping everyone organized.
