This weekend we announced our support for health care legislation being considered in the House of Representatives. We heard a lot of feedback and that’s the beauty of the LIVESTRONG community. People are informed and invested and believe in voicing their opinion. We appreciate hearing from you, especially when you have a different point of view. Believe us when we say we listen and consider the voices of the members of this movement. The House vote was the beginning of a long legislative process and we look forward to further dialogue as the health care reform debate continues. So thank you to everyone who took the time to let us know what you think. It matters to us.

The Cancer Research Act
I was diagnosed with renal cell carcinoma. I was told the result, sent to the secretary to sign papers, and then left! I just couldn’t believe that NO ONE offered me #’s for counselling or Cancer support or anything! I’m freaking out!!!
I thank God for the internet and it’s huge resources so that I was able to educate myself as to what I’m up against, and what the actual surgery is going to accomplish!
Thanks also to this site for it’s valuable information!
Love, Niina, from Northern Ontario, Canada!
