The following is a statement from the US Senate on a new cancer bill titled “21st Century Cancer Access to Life-Saving Early detection, Research and Treatment (ALERT) Act”
The bill was introduced today by Senators Kennedy and Hutchinson and the Lance Armstrong Foundation, along with other cancer groups, have been working with them over several months. We are hopeful that this can be a positive step forward in the fight against cancer.
