It’s with great sadness that the American cancer community bids farewell to Fred Baron. Fred believed fully in his responsibility to serve others and he did so with all his heart and every resource at his disposal.
You could always count on finding Fred on the side of those who needed his determination and wisdom the most. Many great causes benefited from his support but his generosity and dedication to the fight against cancer were singular and unwavering. The fact that we lost him, far too soon, to the very disease that he fought so hard to help defeat is heartbreaking.
