LIVESTRONG Day 2007 delegate from North Dakota, Jim Miller, recently moved his family (wife Jenny and three children, Liam, Quinn, and Nadia) to San Antonio, TX. But that didn’t stop them from fully participating in LIVESTRONG Day 2008! The Millers started out with 120 LIVESTRONG cookies and stopped at five cancer centers, starting in San Antonio and finishing in Marble Falls. Greetings from the Windy City!

It was an energized day here in Chicago where two of our local Army Leaders: Melissa Wilhelm and Joe Schneider organized events to spread awareness, register voters and celebrate survivorship. Today exemplified the power of a local community united. For Melissa and Joe, their “Army” feels more like a family.
