Personal Thought

March 6th, 2008 by Doug Ulman

I love learning about and meeting young people who are making a huge difference in the lives of others. I had the chance to meet recently, via phone, with one such individual. The unique thing about this young man is that he is also fighting to help himself as he battles a rare cancer. Josh Sommer is an inspiration to me. His story reminds me a lot about my own situation many years ago. I thought you might want to check out the two stories below that detail Josh’s crusade.

His drive and passion make me want to work even harder. He is living strong. He is putting his own action plan to work. He will succeed. I have no doubt.

Wow. The first article says, “If he beats chordoma because of a treatment or a cure that he helped discover, he’ll be nothing short of an inspiration to us all.” Never mind the “if.” Godspeed, Josh.
