New Orleans Update

February 20th, 2008 by Brian Howe (LAF Staff)

You probably heard about the LAF staff going to New Orleans to help Habitat for Humanity.

You can read Doug’s take on NOLA here. Lance had a few posts as well. The Big Easy, Hello From New Orleans, and Update From the New Orleans Habitat Build. Even LAF staffer Natalie Seeboth, who is from New Orleans, posted a blog from home.

Today we would like to share the video that was created from the three amazingly rewarding days that we as a staff shared while in the Crescent City.

Great video. I was especially moved by Shirley Byrd’s quote, “It’s nice to know that there are some people out there who care…” It sure is!

I can’t get over how rewarding that trip was for staff. Thanks to all that made the trip possible for us; our amazingly generous donors, management, Lance, our great board members and my awesome coworkers. Yall really are family!
