Update from the New Orleans Habitat Build

January 30th, 2008 by Lance Armstrong

We just wrapped up our build and it was fantastic. I added the before, during and after shots so you can see what we got done in a short two days. The guy to my right in the group shot is Wild Dogg, my team’s New Orleans Area Habitat construction supervisor. A great guy who was really patient with a bunch of people who have never built anything in their whole lives.

A big thank you to all the folks who helped us over the last two days and the LAF staff, of course. It was a real honor to able to help the New Orleans community and I’m looking forward to next time already.

LIVESTRONG,
Lance

    Dear Lance & LiveStrong,

On behalf of the staff of the West Bank of the “New Orleans Area Habitat for Humanity” we thank you so very much for your hard work during your stay with us. Our homeowners were THRILLED to learn that you and your staff helped to build their homes. Your efforts proved to all of us that you truly know what it means to LOVE NEW ORLEANS!
