We planned to start the day at Bagram Air Base and we were looking forward to meeting the troops there. But the weather is still rough and the pilots felt uncomfortable with the conditions there, so we were re-routed to our next stop, Kandahar. We understand, of course, but we also feel bad for the troops at Bagram.
There were lots of international troops in Kabul, which is cool, and we met people from the U.S., Great Britain, France, Belgium, Australia, Germany, Romania, Croatia, Poland, Italy, Mongolia and, of course, Afghanistan.
It was cold, snowy and cloudy in Kabul.…
You would think that a guy who has ridden a bike down the hairpin turns of the Alps in the rain at breakneck speed wouldn’t be scared by much … but there I was in a huge cargo plane approaching an icy and snow-covered runway. The tour is going well. It is a privilege to meet these troops. We do the show and then spend time signing autographs and taking lots of photos.

We had a great first show. By the way, we are doing 15 shows in a week’s time. Robin and Lewis were hilarious. Kid was awesome as well.
We spoke, laughed and played to thousands of troops here from the US, Great Britain and Australia, etc.
I’m humbled by the bravery of these men and women.
Off to Kuwait …
