A lot going on in Austin

September 11th, 2007 by Lance Armstrong

We’ve got a big week ahead of us in Austin. We have over 122 community based cancer organization in town for our annual Community Program conference. The conference brings together our current and past grantees and allows them to network, share best practices and create relationships to help them further their work.

Tomorrow, I will also be speaking at the opening of our newest LIVESTRONG Survivorship Center at the Dell Childrens Hospital in Austin, TX. Being that this is our home - both the foundation and myself - I could not be happier that we were able to establish a center here.

And then to finish out the week we have the annual Austin City Limits Music Festival which will be a great way to unwind and celebrate the accomplishments of this week.
