LIVESTRONG Presidential Cancer Forum

July 18th, 2007 by Lance Armstrong

All of you have heard the numbers you probably have them memorized by now. 1.3 million Americans diagnosed with cancer every year, 560,000 American lives lost to the disease and the number one killer of Americans under the age of 85. Yet despite all of that cancer has still not found it’s way into the national dialogue until now.

Today we announced the LIVESTRONG Presidential Cancer Forum. This is our opportunity to push the cancer question into the national dialogue and I hope you will join us. If you can attend tickets are free and we would love to have you.

The dream is that we get rid of this disease forever. And I can’t wait to sit down with all of the candidates and ask them what’s your plan?

LIVESTRONG,
Lance
