Quick Update

February 21st, 2007 by Lance Armstrong

I just wanted to give everyone a quick update. I was in Phoenix last night giving a speech for my longtime sponsor AMD. The speech focused on the role technology could play in the health care system. The rest of this week I will be at the Tour of California cheering on Team Discovery Channel.

Couple of quick things:

Make sure you tune in to PBS this week for NOW. Host David Brancaccio will be discussing HPV and the issues surrounding vaccination.

If you are looking for a good read check out Sean Swarner’s inspirational memoir Keep Climbing. Sean became the first cancer survivor to summit Mt. Everest and in doing so not only realized his own dream but also gave hope to millions of people affected by cancer.

LIVESTRONG,
Lance
