NYC Summary

February 15th, 2007 by Lance Armstrong

It was a great final day in NYC yesterday. I had a great meeting with the Mayor of New York, Mike Bloomberg, and wrapped up the day with my appearance on the Colbert Report.

We paid a visit to City Hall and wished the Mayor a happy 65th birthday. We spent some time discussing a number of health related issues and talked about his many philanthropic efforts. He is a true believer that government and philanthropy can play a large role in improving the human condition.

After my visit with the Mayor, I had a great experience as a guest on the Colbert Report. After the initial frying, we got a chance to talk about bringing cancer to the fore front of politics, and why the issue cannot be ignored. It was a blast. If you missed the show, you can check out the interview here.

LIVESTRONG,
Lance
