I’m not known for my patience…

January 10th, 2007 by Lance Armstrong

I wrote a piece after the ‘06 elections that cnn.com posted today talking about my impatience with our elected officials. The problem is cancer is an old problem and we and our elected officials have become complacent and that is no longer acceptable. In 2006 approximately 1.4 million people were diagnosed with cancer and 560,000 died… so now is not the time for us to be silent about this disease.

Also make sure you tune into CNN this weekend for a special called “Saving Your Life” that Dr. Sanjay Gupta and I taped in Austin, TX during the LIVESTRONG Summit. It airs at 8 and 11 p.m. ET, on both Saturday and Sunday.

LIVESTRONG,

Lance
